Homemade Finger Paint

While I was babysitting this week, we made homemade finger paint and it was a big hit. Here's the recipe:

1/2 cup cornstarch

3 Tbsp. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

2 cups cold water

food coloring

In a medium sauce pan, mix all the ingredients together. Cook over low heat 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly. It will begin making little hard balls, and then soon after the whole mixture will turn more solid. Remove from heat, and allow to cool. Separate into containers and color as desired.

I bought two packs of toilet paper 1.29 each

Total: Depends on your filler items. Mine came to 1.82, but 1.26 of that was tax.

I didn't want the covergirl, but it got me to $20 so I could get my deodorand and toilet paper for .30 each (after tax)!
